There are three important start-up marketing tools you need in order to acquire and to and keep new customers. The first one is that it is essential that you meet with prospects in person whenever possible. Agreeing to meet in person shows that you respect your prospects and that you take the time to work with your clients to give personal attention to them as well.  Follow-up letters are also important. Take a minute to send a follow-up letter about whatever you discussed, or new agreements, or new partnerships and always thank them for taking the time to meet with you.  In addition, send thank you letters or small gifts to those you partner with.  Finally, use a phone call to follow-up and talk with them about what you discussed in your meeting or any assistance you can offer help their business run more smoothly and more successfully.

It goes without saying that none of these strategies will work if you don’t have a quality service or product that you represent.
